I replaced the coolant temp sensor in my 99 4.0l Ranger, now my temp gauge fluctuates, the upper rad hose pulses and somtimes both the upper and lower rad hoses collapse. Any help would be much appreciated supposed to go on a road trip soon.

Thanks

If both hoses tend to collapse, then you should replace them before your trip because then you won't get proper coolant flow which then you will over heat the engine.
