converting a 08 ranger sport to 4x4

anyone know where i could find a kit, if there is one, to convert my rwd to a 4x4?

shoulda bought a 4x4 to begin with....


but...

there's no kit really. You'd need almost a complete donor 4x4 to rip parts off of. There's a member by the name of 04 edge who did the conversion on his '04. He's got a project thread and there's been other threads popping up on this exact conversion over the past couple weeks. To others reading this thread, this only works on 2wd torsion bar trucks.

Short list of parts needed(though there's likely some I'm missing):

axle
cv shafts
hubs/wheel bearings
knuckles
4wd transmission or convert your existing to 4wd
transfer case(manual or electric shift. idk whats involved with electric shift...probably a huge headache)
front and rear driveshafts
only one bracket needs welded to the frame to mount the axle...everything else is bolt on.
