Manual
I'm new to this forum and to Rangers as well.
I got a 1993 Ranger that I'm going to play with in the woods. Right now it has the electronic T-case selector. Can any manual T-case work? What will I have to do to convert it to manual? Can I just use the shifter and linkage or will I have to do a full swap of the T-case?

Thanks
Justin

It may be possible (with some creativity) to rig up something to shift the electric case manually, although for most this likely wouldn't be practical (the shifter shaft rotates 270°).

Swapping in a manual case from another Ranger would be the best bet ('90-'97 Rangers had manual 1354 cases available that would fit yours, they are somewhat rare though, you may have to look around some for one). :icon_thumby:

:woot:a junk yard 10 miles away has two of them out of a 95 ranger for 175.00 each. anyone want one?

My local yard sells 'em for 75$........
