Console part missing.

Just got new interior for my B2. The donor was an 89 B2 in a local junk yard. This interior has a console that is missing the piece on top in the very back. I have done a search to see what went there originally, but can't find anything. So if one of you fellas who has a console would post a picture of what is there, I would greatly appreciate it.

Likely, you're missing the flip-up armrest, which is prone to breaking, and gets removed a lot. My '90 B2 was the exact way you describe when I bought it, but I've since replaced the console with a complete one. Sorry; I don't have any pics handy. Searching "Ranger/BroncoII/Explorer armrest" on eBay might produce a picture.

I have an explorer console with a flip up armrest which is basically the same console that the 89-90 B2s had, those plastic armrest brackets were prone to breaking, a friend of mine who sold me and installed my console and armrest repalced the bracket with a metal one that won't break, I agree to do a search on ebay for explorer or B2 armrest and you may find something...
