i switched out my box in my 1993 ford ranger 4.0 with a spectra cone filter. i noticed a little better gs milge plus a sweet deep throaty sound....anyone else do it?

Most don't desire to allow the amount of dirt into their system that the cones allow.. And no you don't get better milage from it!! Only noise and dirt.

ya, how long did you pay attention to your mpgbefor changing the filter? what was your milage befor and after? The truck had a factory cold air intake on it already...Why change it?

Now you have a Hot Air Intake! That cone filter will pull in hot air from the engine compartment, the OEM is a CAI, it pulls cool air in from beside the radiator.
