Computer support.

Been thinking about offering remote computer support in general. More importantly I would like to give back to this community. I could do this by helping people out here, but I feel bad for charging since I get help for free, would asking for donations make me an assho1e? I'm a computer tech and I know our community could benefit from one willing to help out. Just wanting to do my part but wondering if I'm just being stupid.

The thought came to me because Co-workers always ask for help but are ungrateful little turds. And I thought man people here always help me, but I don't want to get overwhelmed and to serious about it and have it negatively affect me. anyways computer tech here working towards IT. Ask away lol

Well, I usually give free advice...but that's about what my advice is worth so I don't think too much about getting something for it...and I've been given so much by the people on this site that I don't expect anything...

However, if you happen to help someone with a computer problem and they want to give you something for it I don't see any problem with that...

As long as it's not an internet problem and they expect remote assistance...lol...I once offered a customer a remote login and we were all set till I looked at his file...he was on dial-up...

Lol true but I'm legit, just wanted to give back to people who deserve it since people always ask me for help but are not people that appreciate my help or time. I'm a computer tech not a hacker lol. I can't say I've never pirated anything though lol. But these days I find it easier to just buy stuff I want.
