Computer Location

Been looking for a bit, can anyone point me to where the computer in a 92 is located? I need to check it's connections. I'm hoping it's easily accessible for replacement if needed, trying to save money

Look beneath the passenger side kick panel, which is the panel forward of the door, cab interior, to the right of where passenger's feet rest.

If it's not there, look above the heater box on the firewall cowl, under the hood. It has a wide rectangular connector, biggest connector in the truck.

Ah okay, I was looking under the drivers side upside down on the seat, wasn't fun, I'll check the passenger. Pretty sure it's not under the hood I've looked there extensively.

Hoping it's not really the computer itself, I'm trying to check some connections for an intermittent electrical problem I have before I start the time consuming wire wiggle testing. It's a very old issue, I just haven't had time to really work on it until now. The fact that I need to get it inspected and don't have a garage to hide it from the ticket writing police is motivating me to get off my ass and do it.
