Compressor runs, but no cold air?

1997 Ranger 2.3

The truck appears to have some type of aftermarket A/C system installed.

The truck was at an idle in my drive way and the compressor was running, but no cold air comes out of the vents. The bottom line going into the box on the firewall had frost on it.

The linkage on the valve in the heater hoses moved when it was switched to A/C.

When using the "vent" selection, the air temp changes from hot to cool when adjusting the temperature control.

Where to start? What to check? :dunno:
