I have a 1994 Ranger with a 4 cylinder. I need to check the compression but can't find a gauge that will reach down to the spark plugs on the drivers side. All the ones I have found are to short. Where can I find one that will reach past the intake?

do a compression test from the exhaust side and you won't have that problem

That would work...I guess i was thinking you had to check both sides but it is the same cylinder. Sorry.

no need to apologize, nobody knows everything.

just leave the driver side spark plugs in or it won't hold compression
