Hi,
I've got a '90 4.0L Ranger. The heads are cracked and I was considering just puting a new motor in it rather than fix the heads (high milage and 2 dead lifters also are a part of the problem.) I may end up doing a v8 conversion, but would prefer to stick with the six, because the trans is good and I don't want to put a lot of work into it now.
What years are interchangeable? Remember if there is a flywheel issue or something similar, I have a complete 4.0L to use for parts. Also, can I use the same computer and intake/injection components? Thanks in advance.
