Puke! Belch! Yuck!

Looks cool, but way too many bells and whistles... to break.

It's on BFgetmestucks so who can really take it seriously anyway? It's like calling a chevy a good vehicle.

I have only ever gotten "stuck" once with BFGs. And that was in large part because my front drive shaft was sitting on the work bench and my tires were half bald.

Besides, any BFG is getter than those stupid Scorpios they put on them now.

Maybe. After I can buy one a few years old after they have worked out the bugs. I don't think I'd ever buy a first gen car/truck. They always have problems.

First generations are the best... :icon_confused:

I think it looks better than the current trucks aside from the goofy thing going on with the roof.

For OEM tires the BFG's are a vast improvement to anything else Ford has hung on a truck in my lifetime. The stock ones on my '02 looked like five rib implement tires with grooves cut in them... and they bit like it too.

No, I'm buying one in a couple weeks :D We were told by our Sherwin Williams tech rep at work that these new ones were going to have all aluminum bodys...that ought to be real fun to work on.

Meh, my '02 has an aluminum hood. It is holding up much better than the bottoms of the doors and left cab corner.

Maybe after over 100 of attempting we may need to just give up on steel for making car bodies because they are still rusting out.

I like it... It's fancy yeah..a little to high tech...

but I still like it. I love the looks of it.

I see a lot of problems with corrosion on aluminum panels, particularly ford and GMs, though the good thing is they're usually good to go once you sand it down and repaint, which isnt the case with steel most of the time. But you are right, theyre much less susceptible to completely rotting out, but its still a possibility, ford is doing it more for fuel economy though obviously, i was told it cut weight by 600 lbs.

I agree they are mainly doing it for the fuel economy but I see it being an advantage for rust as well.

Now that I think about it the aluminum hood on the parents Explorer corroded under the paint and made the paint chip off... still better than actual holes that need cut out and replaced though which usually isn't cost effective. Just cleaning and painting would be much cheaper.

Cows crap all over everything anyway, ours used to love to back up to the stock tank and then marvel why the water tasted bad.

I like the built in ladder rack...but I can just see that nice interior smattered with my work dirt and other impurities in a matter of hours...not weeks or even months...

I guess I'd need two of them...one for work and one foreplay...:)
