So 3 years ago my Ranger was parked because of numerous reasons.
1.) High cost of gas
2.) Numerous repairs that need to be done
3.) Finances were not available to continue driving/repairing
4.) Didn't want to pay for insurance and registration on a vehicle that was going to be part time use.
So the truck got parked, a solar charger was put in the window to keep the battery maintained and it was regularly started to maintain some sorta of runnability.
Recently my mother-in-law asked if I'd be willing to fix up my truck and she'd pay for registration and insurance and the repairs so that if her vehicle broke she could borrow my truck till her truck was fixed.
I said yes.
Needed repairs:
1.) Stripped out bolt on bellhousing for Starter.
2.) Replace throw out bearing, the current one is quite noisy
3.) 2 New tires
4.) Replace drivers side door latch
5.) Fix or replace tailgate handle
6.) Replace leaky wheel cylinder
7.) The Dealer installed Ear mount A/C leaks at clutch seal, have already replace seal once, so it's time to replace the compressor
8.) Minor other stuff
So tomorrow I cash the check to start working on my truck.
