I want to do some spot repair and was hoping to use rattle can paints, but I have no idea what the paint code should be.

What I know;
VIN is useless, unless Kentucky is handy to know
Door Jam sticker is missing
I suspect Eddie Bauer Trim

What I can't figure out is what Red and Tan it should be. I'm guessing there wasn't that many choices for the 1986 model year, but finding a chip online is harder than it appears.

Medium Dark Fire Red 51
Desert Tan 9N

Last picture I took of fender badge, also has EB seats, EB dash badges, wiper rear window, Track-Loc...so a mix of fancy trim but with manual front windows?

Later I nearly peeled off one horse, so I removed all three. But here it is in the woods last weekend.

see if there is a duplicolor chart on line I have compared the can caps on several paints and found them to be very close to the actual color, there chart also has a list of color options for most years, so you can narrow it down

Ignore things like wipers and windows. Those are options, not trim. The S, XL, XLS, XLT and EB are trim packages and purely appearance items.

If you have the EB pine-tree seats then it is an Eddie.

Yes EB only seats, so that does narrow the chip color possibilities because of the two tone?

My problem is the charts tend to be too generic, so many seem right, but I'm hopping this isn't a special order and somebody knows what was typical paint code.

The duplicolor chart at the FLAPs doesn't go back enough decades to be of use to me

I can't really help with the paint issue, but is that a Honda CL in the pictures?

Thats my massive vertical twin, I generally run the same BLM roads and many single tracks as the B2, but the mirrors get folded into the body less.
