COLD!

Grew up in Southern Calif. never heard of "snow days"
But P.E. classes were often cancelled from Smog Alerts :)

Meanwhile in Texas....

In NJ we wouldn't even cancel our golf game for that..
Just switch to colored balls.

Yeah. I know there's a joke there somewhere.

Went with the GF to gas up her CRV (second car). Damn that thing is a lot more sure-footed than anything I own. Light dusting of snow on top of ice, fun fun fun......

The best snow vehicle I’ve ever had was an AWD Astro van. The tires were narrow so it could easily find solid ground, and the bumper was sort of V-plow shaped, so it kicked any snow over about 10 inches off to either side. The dumbest thing I ever did was trade that in for an Xterra. For what I needed it for the van was a million times better, plus it was paid for, but I was an idiot kid who thought I knew everything.

I got these weird peppers stuffed with cheese and some kind of deli meat from the fresh deli section of the supermarket thinking they were kinda like jalapeño poppers. Well they were nothing like jalapeño poppers, somewhat spicy and really strange tasting but surprisingly kinda good so I ate all 6 (they are about the size of a small plum).

That was at about 11am this morning. I've since been having the worst heartburn of my life and then my stomach started hurting. Then I started getting real nauseous. Now I'm pretty sure I have a fever since Im sweating bullets with the window open and its 10 degrees outside.

Long story short, to avoid the cold. Eat these strange cheesey meat peppers and you'll become so violently ill the cold goes away!

Those look like dragon's eyeballs.

I found what they are online, they are called prosciutto and provolone stuffed pepper delights. The container at the supermarket just said "fresh stuffed peppers". They are super oily so I imagine they are an italian creation.

I didn't think you were quite old enough to have fought dragons... learn something new everyday.

My 2001 & 1999 Honda CR-Vs were mountain goats in the winter. I wrecked the first one (my own stupidity that had nothing to do with winter) and sold the latter when it no longer had the horsepower to meet what I want to do. The current owner is happy with it.

Well I thought I was going to go play in the snow with TRS-2, but I was hearing weird banging and clanging coming from the back somewhere so I took it home.

12 degrees here. Shirt-sleeve weather for some of you.... but a little cold for us!
