:buttkick: Me again! I've looked and looked and haven't found anyone yet that offers a cold air kit for the 88. Anyone else found one? I've also thought about fabbing my own up. But there's the matter of all the gadgets on the air box, the vaccum lines can be dealt with easy enough then there's the matter of that smaller air line that runs paralell to the main air source! Anyone experimented with deleting some of this stuff or substituting it for some later model parts that may get away from some of these problems? I guess all in all I can see why K&N or no one else offers one for it! I'm sure some one else has tried though.

Don't throw your money away! The OEM intake/filter is a CAI, and will flow way more air than your engine will ever pull!

So I guess the only mod that may make any difference with this thing is a K&N filter replacement and take out the silencer in the tube that goes below the battery box?

Nope, the OEM paper filter will flow way more air than your engine will pull, without the dirt & oil you will get with the K&N.

Gotcha! Leave it alone! Thanks
