Cold Air Intake?


Cool thing is, Ford put a cold air intake on your truck, in 1996. :icon_thumby:
 
Thats were your wrong BlackBII! Ford put one in his truck way back in 1666! Lucky guy got one way before all of us haha
 
So i got a 96 ranger 4.0 v6 and was looking for a cold air intake and this is all i could find.

Pop the hood on your truck and look at the tubing of the existing intake system. It pulls air from directly behind the headlight.

Its a Cold Air Intake Made by ford directly from the factory and its Better then anything you can buy that looks really kewl!

Anything that sucks air from inside the engine bay is Not a cold air intake =>

the only good thing about the CAI is you can buy a skirt to cover the filter elment when you go into kinda deep water, where the Stock one will suck a lot of water in. thats been the only benifit to having a CAI

The only way to keep water from being sucked in is not to put it underwater!

Snorkel FTW! And even then if you put the open end underwater it will still suck water =>
