In the middle of doing a sas on a 93 ranger ext cab, need to know the best coils to use,or any other info would to great

jeep xj coils are the best give you more flex and if you run the coil bucket and bump stops like the xj i works really good

Well, how much lift are you looking for? What axle are you using?

I'd use early Bronco coils on a Supercab, XJs may be too soft.

I've always liked linear-rate coils for a trail crawler (lets the suspension flex upward better over boulders, etc.).
If you want to jump the thing or drive fast a lot, progressive coils may be better. As they get stiffer on compression, they can help keep the suspension from bottoming out as much.

Have you tried the jeep xj coils? I've been planning to try em but I can't buy some until next month.

Depending on the type of axle your using early bronco or 78-79 bronco coils might work well....I had 6" superflex coils in my Full size bronco and liked them..... Might want to remember the weight of a ranger is less than a fullsize tho....
