Hey

I have been thinking of ways to lift my ranger, but I am on a low budget. I think I have found a cheap way to gain a few inches of lift. I am just wondering if it will work, because I don't know to much.

I found some parts from JCWhitney. I am thinking about installing 2'' coil springs on the front end. I might install two on each coil, because people have said that they only lift one inch. I am also thinking on adding an Add-a-Leaf-Kit which will add almost 2'' to the back. With these parts, I am hoping to fit 32s or 33s. What do you guys think?

Or if you all have any other ideas of lifting my truck for under $200 please let me know...

im planning on add a leafs and whole new coil springs thatll lift 2" heres the site im looking at
click

you can do add a leafs and 2" lift coils for about that, but if your were to only lift the front 2" there would be no reason to lift the back unless you like that raked in look

would you happen to know a brand or part number for the coils? would you need anything else like longer shocks?

i got mine from suspensionmax.com they were $109.56 shipped and yes you will need longer shocks, the collapsed length should be 10.48" and extended length should be 15.98" those are the lengths of shocks that i run with my 2" coil lift the brand you go with is completely up to you!

I second what fordboi416 said. I am waiting for my taxes to get the 5" lift from that site. 2" coils and 3" spindle lift... FTW!

Do you guys think its a good idea to put two coil spacers (one on top and one on bottom) to give the front about a 3'' lift. What would the back end of the truck look like if I didn't install the Add-a-Leafs? Do you guys also know if I could fit 32s (or what size then) after I install the coil spacers?

I am trying to post some pics on here but I am confused. What are the steps to posting pics?

you can run 2 coil spacers in front but keep in mind, it sacrifices your coil's strength and ride quality, im running 2 coil spacers on my stock coils and it doesnt bother me, but i wouldnt suggest hitting a bad bump or pothole hehe

Posting pictures? Let me see if I can get this right> Go to a web-site like Photobucket & set up your-self a free account. On that site is a box labeled upload images and video. To the right side of it, select from the list where you want your pictures to come from (example: from my computer). Then click on choose files. Next, click on the picture from your computer that you want to put on Photobucket--give it a few seconds to appear on the screen. Now click on the Photobucket picture & give it a few seconds to enlarge itself on the screen. Next look at the picture bottom right-hand corner>and click on the IMG CODE. The box below will high-lite in blue>right click on the blue box>another box will appear>click on copy. Then go to the Ranger thread you want to place the picture on. Click on post reply>Type in some info about the picture>then click on the little yellow box above with the mountains?/postage stamp? on it. A box will appear>Hit the back-space button until the letters in the box disappear>Then right-clik on the same box>Another box will appear>Click on Paste. Some words will appear>Click on "O.K. " Then a description of the picture will appear in blue high-lite. Click on this box & the high-lite will disappear. There will be 2

You might be able to fit 32's with some minor rubbing. You would be better off with 31's. Just my 2 cents.
