i have a 1995 ford ranger XLT super cab with the 4.0 . i heard from a few people difernt answers to this question. Ok here it goes, if I put in my 2'' coil spacers do i have to buy longer shocks or can I use the stock one im kinda tight on funds so if i dont have to i wont for now. In the spring ill put new shocks in but can i get away with it now with out hurting my truck? also the spacers are from fat bobs garage and they came with i think its 5/8'' extender bolts what are they for any help would be great also if anyone is in mass area hit me up .Also if you are selling some nice slitly used shocks or 31-32'' tires plz email me or pm me any help will be great .This is my first truck lift.:yahoo:

Your shocks will be just fine. :icon_thumby:

The extender bolt is provided because once you install the spacer, the original bolt is too short to get the nut back on, so you have to extend it.

Oh, and you'll need an alignment afterwords, as your camber will be a titch off.

funny thing is the top of my tires kinda point in a bit like i said its a 1995 so it needs a aliment now lol i only really drive it less then 5 miles a day to work .do you think that when i lift it 2 inches it might corect the camber?

oh and also will i need to lift the rear to so it level and will 30'' tires look good on it or should i do 31-32'' thanks for the help

If you currently have negative camber, adding the spacer might correct the camber, but it might not correct the issue. Could be the balljoints etc.

Edit- with the 2 inch, you can fit 31's or so. You may not even have to touch the rear, if you do, an add-a-leaf would work great.

Longer shocks would be recommended with a spacer lift, but they are not required. You will lose some of the suspension's downtravel by keeping the stock shocks though.

well i talk to a few people that have the spacers and i guess the extender studs in the kit go on top of the shocks and make them longer
