Coil Spacer Install

Kunar, is there a cotter pin in your upper balljoint?

there wasnt at the time because i had that alignment cam apart but theres one in there now

Done!

The lift is complete, it looks great and the camber is off just a bit, but the alignment wil correct it no problem. And the shocks only allow me about a one inch suspension extension. So I send out for some lifted shocks yesterday and they should be here tomorrow. And I will have pics up too. So someone let me know how to post pics in the thread and ill get them put up! late-

Thats gay, I went to go get it aligned and the techs told me that my truck is unsafe. And they made the "its a shame" face.... fuckin pissed me off.

probaly because now if those washers fail that truck might be able to come back to them in terms of "lawsuit", dont worry about it, mechanics will always comment about something like that....

Ok... I sucked it up and used the 4" lift coils that I was saving for my lift kit and I took it back to get the camber adjusted... The shop called me and told me that they cannot adjust It back into equal camber. they said that they dont have a camber kit big enough and that I need an actual lift with the beam drop brackets and the radius drop brackets. But I dont want to do any of those. I just wand some cut and turned beams and some extended radius arms... But I need to fricken find some that are available... (I only have around 400 bucks that I would be willing to pay for them.)

Thoughts? Anyone??? as you can tell, I fell into the can of worms

start over

ok, instead of cobbling something together how about you pull the stuff off your truck, put it back to stock and then put together a plan on exactly what you are going to do to your truck. make a list of what you have, and a list of what you NEED (not want)

so you have 4 inch coils?

why not take the washers out, put the coils in and do a soa conversion?

then pick up a set of extended arms in the classifieds for around 250-300 bucks?

alignment and safety issue done.

Well, I talked to some peeps and I may get some extended beams in a week or two for like 400 and then extended radius arms come and go at random times... But yeah tomorrow Ill put it back to stock and wait it out... I will let every one know how it goes...

as a former poor teenager with big dreams who graduated into young even poorer adult with big dreams....its best to save up money, get EVERYTHING you need and then do it all at once...yeah i got a few months of saving left...
