The Haynes manual says you should have 13-15k and I have around 15.8 on most and 16.03 on one. Is this ok, or could this be part of my poor running problem?

Does the resistance have to be infinite for the coil to not function properly or is this number enough to show that something is not right?

Really, I'm not sure?

But readings from a simple DMM, can be off by a bit.

I'd say they are ok, and you best bet is to take a known good part and swap it out.

Now in experience, a missing/ poor running problem can be a number of things, and is mostly not likely to be a coil pack. They rarely go bad.

I'd say check simple things first.

Such as:

Air intake: is the a crack or split behind the MAF.

Fuel: Are you getting any or enough? When's the last time the filter was replaced

Relays: Fuel Pump or ECC. Both can cause problems.

Igniton: Old plugs or wires?

I have new plugs and wires (gapped correctly), fuel filter, gaskets on IAC-upper intake manifold-EGR valve, cleaned MAF sensor, both O2 sensors, catalytic converter. That's all I can think of right now. Maybe it's the muffler bearings...
