i am looking to do a cheap easy way to level the front end, i have a 2wd and i was reading about f150 coils in the front, is there anything else that i need.

What year of Ranger ? Mayeb some more info will help here alittle bit ...

sry it is a 94 4.0 2wd

I would imaging an easier way to go about leveling the front out would be to put coil spacers.

But if you want to go the route of f-150 coils you will need a good set, possibly from the junk yard and just make sure they are the same diameter as your Rangers coils, then bolt them in.

If they sit the truck up to high, make sure the coils are seated properly, and if they are, and it is still to high, you can cut a coil out of them until satisfied.

Oh you might want to make sure you get coils out of a I beam F-150.

I'd say coil spacers or leveling coils as f150's will most likely lift it more than you want. There is a thread going on about the f150 coils that has some good info, but I think leveling coils or spacers is the ticket to what you're after.

Edit: found it. Check this out http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7783
