hey guys ive been rebuilding my front axle after i noticed the previous owner put the front crossmember through the differential
i am beginnning to learn its a more common problem than not after these trucks have been lifted. its a 1996 4x4 3.0 five speed. the rear has bds lift shocks with 2 2" inch blocks stacked and the front has regular(?) non lift coils in it. also has a 3 inch body lift. sitting on 33x1250s problem is now the axle is done and the coils are back in and the truck is way off level and camber/caster is destroyed
. the coils in it now measure 14 inches when the truck is sitting on the ground. the rear is 46 inches from ground to the highest point in the fender well, the front is only at 40.6. ive read about different jeep and f150 coils being used, so my question is blatantly obvious, if im looking to level her out what might be recommended that i use for coils? trying to find them in the local yard cause it needs to be fixed by monday. my other question is, should i have it aligned after the new coils are in or does it not matter? thanks i appreciate any help!
