90 2. 3 had to drive through flooded roads <had 10 inches rain. Theres no spark from #2 and #3 out of secondary <pass. side> coil pack ,tach is fluxuating installed new coil pack,wires.plugs. had ign.module checked,+all electric items relays etc, still no spark and tachometer, truck will start and run please help thanks

the passenger side is primary not secondary

That said, the only other part of the ignition system is the crank sensor, but it sounds more like the ignition module, since you've had that checked already I'd swap the coil packs from side to side to eliminate the coil as the problem

Get a can of Silicone Lubricant from any parts store and spray coils/ wires before replacing parts! You probably have some residual moisture cross firing or shorting out your coils + wires, etc... Or as stated above swap coils to get er running till you get some scratch to buy another coil pack if its cooked.

Coil Pack

Brand new coil packs. New wires and plugs. Engine light is staying on. Did the self test but will not give a code. Light just stays on.

Is your DIS module okay? Had to replace mine due to primary coil pack not working intermittantly although I did get a code for failure of one of the coil packs. Picked up a module at a junk yard for $35, installed it and everything is fine again.

I take it it's running correctly now? Did you unhook the battery to clear the codes?

dmassey/coil pack

The DIS module was tested at Auto Zone and it is okay.

So does it run ok or not? I still can't tell if you're problem is just clearing a code/MIL or if it's still missing.
