So this is a quik inquiry about two pieces of info. First is the coil size (diameter) the same for zj, xj, eb, and solid axle f150 coils. And second, if not, which one is closest in diameter to rbv coils.

I tried to search for the info but came up empty handed. Also has anyone tried these on a BII (or any rbv... I am more curious than a practical application). I thought the 320 lbs was a nice middle ground coil.

I can't give you the exact measurements. But I can give you some general info.

F-150 coils are larger in diameter than RBV coils. I believe Jeep coils are usually in between RBV and 150 coils as far as diameter goes. Regardless of the size, all three coil types will fit. You may end up bending the tabs a little on the coil bucket to match the coil diameter, but this takes almost no effort and requires only an adjustable wrench.

EDIT: I believe ZJ, XJ, and EB coils are the same diameter if not very close.

thanks evan, but I was asking cuz I have the xj coils of 240 ppi and i was just expolring the roads less traveled and seeing if those other coils are any closer fit to the rbv ones.

XJ/ZJ and EB/F-150 coils are all the same diameter (5.5" OD). The EB/F-150 coils won't have the one small wrap on one end like Jeep coils do though.

Thanks for that! I posted this just because i noticed the bow of the xj coils and how shifty they could potentially be. also on the top the first and second coil are touching which i dont like too much

Yeah, mine bowed a little also. It wasn't much of an issue with the 3" coils, but the 6" ones bowed way more.

I welded "tabs" onto the outside of the stock buckets to support the coil better.
