The hydraulic clutch, master/slave setup, in Rangers and Bronco IIs are hard to bleed(get the air out).
If pedal feels spongy or doesn't disengage engine and hold it, or you have to pump it a few times then you have air in the "pipes".
If the mechanic that did the work guaranties it then take it back for re-bleeding.
If you want to try it yourself then read here:

Make sure reservoir is FULL ALL THE TIME!
Another method for bleeding the Master cylinder:
The Clutch master is tilted at an angle that can trap air if reservoir ever becomes empty.
Inside the cab, disconnect Safety switch from clutch push rod, it turns and has a slide out tab, pull it off the push rod.
Disconnect the top of the push rod from the clutch pedal.
You should use c-clip pliers for this part:
Put a bowl or towel under the master cylinder, fluid will come out, that's the point of this.
MAKE SURE RESERVOIR IS FULL!
Remove c-clip from the top of the master
Pull up on push rod, master piston will start to come out, pull it up until fluid only comes out, no air.
Push it back in and install c-clip, if piston won't go back in all the way because of pressure then open the bleeder at the slave end.
Reassemble.
Engine will not turn over unless Safety switch is reinstalled.
