I'm going to be replacing my clutch on my 98 ranger 4x4, does any one have a clutch kit they would recommend, and any pointers to make the job go easier.
I recommend Zoom clutch. Bought that kit when I had to take my motor out and i'm very happy. Its been submerged in water, has to tall of gearing and is a daily driver, offroading, towing, heavy hauls and its never missed a beat. When it goes I will buy another zoom clutch.
If the trucks just a daily driver with the occasional load, get a Sachs clutch. Ceramic. Never kevlar or organic. They cant handle slippage like ceramic.
