hey guys, im thinking i know what the problem is but not sure, so im double checking. alright clutch started acting funny just lost pressure to the slave is what it felt like , i push the slave in and u can see the pressure plate gong in but doesnt look like its fully engaging, ive bled the hell out of the fluid until streams of ol faithful came out solid and great. but still acts like theres no pressure building up , (first i thought it was just not getting fluid the black rubber piece i was pouring the fluid has no hole in it to drain fluid to bottom of the line . so that would be my fault cause i didnt know what does that rubber piece do , and why no hole ? ) other than that i cant put it in reverse i have to completely turn truck off and put in revers and push clutch it will start and not go anywhere but it is getting harder and harder to go through the gears, i am pretty much floating them . what do u see thats wrong is it the slave? pressure plate not stopping clutch or both?

the black rubber thing in the reservoir is a diaphragm to keep clean air space so the system can breathe and not get dirty.

If you've bled it and it had air in it, even though it doesn't look like there's air in the system it hides in the master cylinder, if the pedal is soft that's probably the cause. The hard/correct way to fix this is remove the master cylinder and clutch line as an assembly and bench bleed, the halfass way to fix it that's quick, simple and works is to push the clutch pedal to the floor then slip your foot off the pedal, do that several times and the air will exit the master cylinder...

alright thank you i will try that, ive dont alot and bled it a few times. i will prolly end up replacing it soon , clutch and all.
