So, middle of winter, slave decides to die ( joy ).
Truck is a 2010 with not an overly large amount of mileage on it. But its a ford with a standard so i expected it at one point or another ( i've owned 6 rangers, bronco 2, 5 f-150s, 2 crowns, etc. )
Big question is, i've heard rumours about the aftermarket ones not lasting well. I can get oem for 540 with new clutch and plate, or aftermarket with all that for 360 - no way i'm doing all this work laying on my back in the winter without changing the clutch regardless how much life is left.
Thanks TRS Members!
