OK, first of all - you guys are an awesome wealth of knowledge so thanks!

Second, what is your preferred clutch? I am swapping in another 2.9l and I would like to replace it while I am in there. The choices are NUMEROUS. From 80 dollar kits to 500. My instinct is to go cheap with such a crappy engine. THoughts?

I believe LUK is a popular brand for a lot of Ranger enthusiasts..

I went with a Luk repset when i swapped motors. The concensus was that it holds well, but is soft enough for off road where you have to ride it at times.

Went ahead and bought a luk. Seems to be the best bang for the buck

While you’re at it. Go ahead and upgrade to the 4.0 clutch. You’ll need a flywheel. Clutch kit. And starter.

Edit, never mind. I see you bought the clutch already
