hi everyone,

i have to put a new clutch in my truck and was wondering if theres and good sites with step by step directions, diagrams, list of tools, and such.

thanks

go to the auto store (Advanced, Auto Zone, Carquest, Corky's, Napa, heck even WALMART) and go drop a 20.00 on a Haynes Manual...trust me it'll pay for itself as soon as u walk out of the store.
If u dont have any money (like me) ill be nice and PM you the directions...just tell me the motor size, and year. Hell ill even give you the torque specs cause im a really nice guy.

Yep, I'd be happy to help, as well. I've done them on 2.9, 3.0 and 4.0's. In my opinion, the hardest part is getting the bellhousing over the exhaust crossover pipe while not hanging up on the seam in the transmission tunnel. Once the tranny is out, you can pound the seam up flush with the tunnel so it doesn't stick down, makes installation and future removal much easier. Removing the crossover pipe really isn't an option for rusty Minnesota vehicles, as the manifold flange, bolts and crossover pipe flange are rusted to one piece!
