hey guys i ran into a few problms with my clutch. it wouldnt release so i replaced the master cyilnder slave cylinder and clutch took the whole line out and did the bench bleed got it all back togther today and it does go into gear better than before but has a hard time with it and grinds into reverse. ive tried gravity bleeding it like 5 times out of the bleed screw on the slave cylinder and still nothing??? any ideas :icon_confused:

how does the pedal feel? these clutches are notoriously hard to bleed. some people say take the master loose from the firewall and angle it so that the line is at the high end of the master. myself, i prefer a pressure bleeder. attach your bleeder, pressurize it to about 10 lbs, open your bleeder screw and then pump the crap out of the pedal as fast and hard as you can.

take the MC off the fire wall and tip it down in front, Undo the line at the slave and use something to hold the fitting open so it drains until all the air is out of the line. take the cap off the reservoir to help the flow. Reconnect the line to the slave and open the bleeder .. The directions came with the new parts , BTW.

PITA, worst hydro clutch I've ever had to bleed, but the directions worked. They came from a service bulletin.
