Hey everyone.. I found a 1995 Ford Ranger 2.3L 4cyl 5spd. manual online and it is in good shape. I am thinking of buying it. The guy said it needs a new pressure plate and a slave cylinder. When replacing these, should you replace the whole clutch system or just replace the pressure plate and slave cylinder? You know what people say, "since the transmission is already apart, you might as well replace it while its out"...kinda thing. Thanks
The guy what is selling it mentioned quote
"it won't switch out of and into gear, but the truck runs great...... I think it's the pressure plate, I know that there's a small leak cause I've been refilling it"
What does that mean?
