Clutch problems

I have a 1984 Ford Ranger long bed, 3.8L carbureted engine, 5 speed manual transmission, Jimmy Duff Lift Kit, with 15 inch tires.
I have a Miller Trailblazer Welding Generator mounted crossways behind the cab.
The engine pulls the load with no problems, however, when I drive the truck up my ramp which is an approx. 35 degree angle, the clutch slips pretty bad.
The Clutch, flywheel, pressure plate and throwout bearing are all new.
Can anyone tell me if they make a heavy duty clutch for my truck?

I have considered swapping out the 5 speed with an automatic, if so, what automatic transmission will work on this truck, in the event I can't get a heavy duty clutch for it?

I would appreciate any help I can get on this issue, since I'm real happy with my Ranger.

Thanks,

Hank Mireles

after i put my new clutch in my toyota i accidentally got grease all of the clutch so its slipped for awhile to it burned off and maybe you need to re-bleed the clutch.i do believe you can buy a high performance clutch but swapping in a auto from a 5 speed just seems like a lot of work.

heavy duty clutch..there is probably cheaper ones but this is what i found
