My credo
Make it fast, Make it loud.
So it's a 91 2wd and the clutch isn't fully disengaging there is a very very slight leak from the part of the master that's in the cab, yet the petal feels very stiff, too stiff if I say so myself. Could the slight leak be my problem?

And I watched the slave cylinder push maybe 1.5 or 2 inches

clutch probs

If your slave is moving that far, you've got issues with the slave. And if the master is leaking in the cab, it needs to be replaced. The slave only needs to move .25 to .75 inches to disengage the clutch, dependent on age. Clutch might be so worn down, or center spline housing might have come loose, and when you press on clutch, it "travels", but it should not be 2 inches. Maybe that explains the hard shifting. Also, might have gotten something in the line to build up pressure like that, or stomping on clutch pedal to make it work, and now it blew the seal on the master. All above mentioned probably needs to be replaced, and while you have it apart, look at clutch disc, pressure plate, and flywheel. Bleed new master and slave, and all should be good!!:icon_thumby:
