I have a 1989 XLT 4x4 Ranger and the problem it has is the clicking noise when i let off the clutch. But when i press it back in it goes away. what could it be? Clutch, slave clylinder, or does it need oil??

My first guess would be a bad throwout bearing.

blackBII said it, throughout bearing, sometimes they are a bitch, ive had them make that sound immediatly after replacing the old one! i hate them things
