clutch pedal resistance?

How stiff should the clutch pedal be after bleeding? I'm not sure if I managed to get this thing bled properly or not? It feels like the pedal is too easy to depress and not a lot of resistance on release.
 
Clutch pedal resistance is just the springs(forks) on the pressure plate, so it isn't "stiff" by any measure.

If you put transmission in neutral and then push clutch in and start engine, let clutch out in neutral, then press clutch pedal in again and try to shift into 1st gear.
If you can't shift into 1st then you still have air in the system or other issues.
 
Only real test is how well it disengages, it can be a bear to bleed completely, especially in newer ones. Pre bled setup is gravy but costs more. I recently did one and it took a few sessions of my wife pushing the pedal but finally got it primo. Hope that helps.
 
The clutch is properly bled when it has resistance at the very top of the travel. If it has any "sponge" at all, it has air in it.
 
I think it's bled completely. I removed the plug from the bell housing and I'm getting good travel on the slave when the clutch is depressed. No air bubbles in the reservoir and when I was bleeding the line I had solid squirts of fluid. I couldn't find a good hose to bleed the slave with while it is in the bell housing.
