clutch pedal question

i have an 84 bronco 2 5 speed and each time i have to turn it on i have to press the clutch in for it to crank is there a sensor or something that i can unplug or something i mean its not a big deal ive just always liked not haveing to push the clutch in and its easier to get it warmed up in the mornings since its parked on a hill and my emergency brake doesnt work so i have to pump the gas and push the clutch in then really quick hit the brake anything would be helpfull

Look at the clutch pedal under the dash. Should be a switch installed there. The newer models had a jumper you install in place of that switch when an auto trans is installed. Don't know if 84 had that. Regardless, once you remove the switch from the pedal shaft, it can't be too hard to figure out which two wires need spliced together to disable your clutch switch.

Yeah, there should be a switch behind the clutch pedal, most likely, there will be two red wires, when you push the clutch in, the switch connects the two red wires, letting the vehicle start. If you just splice the two together, should solve your problem

It was that way with my '85 BII, not sure on your '84.

yeah i looked at it today and i saw the two red wires yall were talkin about so i just splice them together and its that simple?
