clutch pedal position problem

I have a 99 3.0L automatic ranger i am trying to do a 5spd swap to the m5r1 out of the same year model truck the only problem i got is i can not locate the clutch pedal position plug everyone i have talked to said on the automatic's the plug has a cap on it so it will bypass i have spent about a hour under the dash of this truck trying to locate it i have even looked on alldata and it shows the automatic having the plug has anyone run it to this problem i really dont think it is safe to keep it bypassed

If you are smart enough to drive a stick , you don't need the switch...
