Stepped on my 95 clutch pedal and it felt like my brake. Pushed a bit harder, and bent the pedal. Suspect TO brg jammed or possible broken brg support shaft. No free play, solid.
Before pulling the trans, has this happened to anyone?

Not common but does happen
The Quick connect fitting under the truck on the Slave has come off

The fitting has a valve inside that closes when its removed from the slave so the fluid in Master and reservoir doesn't all run out on to the ground

So if the fitting comes off, or loose, valve closes, and clutch pedal can't be pushed down because there is no place for the fluid to go

I second that, WAY more likely than anything else.

I had mine do the same but was slave had froze about halfway out.

Thanks guys, I had hoped to cure without trans removal. However…..

You don't need to remove transmission if quick connect has come off or it's valve has failed

Just open the slave bleeder to see if pedal goes all the way down to the floor, if it does then then YES, you may need to replace bad slave
If pedal is still rock hard then replace the hose and fitting from master to slave, or the whole master

Hi, Guys.
Thank you for the responses, but have not had the opportunity to check this out.
Thank goodness I have two other Rangers.
When determined, will post the results.

Have two rangers, so have not had an opportunity to check this out, however I did not mention that:
The clutch pedal has absolutely no play, it is as if it were welded in place, so when I applied pressure several times, ended up bending it to the left. It is not frozen to the shaft.... more to come as I get to it.

The clutch Master is a hydraulic cylinder with a single outlet hose, the reservoir hose is an Inlet not an outlet

If that single outlet hose is blocked then there is no amount of pedal force that can push the Master's piston down, the fluid inside has no where to go and it can't be compressed so...........................pedal is rock hard

To prevent fluid from draining out of the Master when its disconnected from the Slave Ford put a valve inside the fitting at the end of this outlet hose
This Valve closes when fitting is disconnected, so pedal would be rock hard
So if this fitting happened to pop off or the valve inside it failed then rock hard pedal
