So one week after I got my 90 BII running after putting in an fm145 from an 86, the slave went out. I know, I know, I should have replaced it originally, but I was trying to save a few bucks, and just ended up losing a few hours. Now, I have everything back, new slave in and all. I got ready to bleed to clutch and well, theres a pinhole in the line, just above the slave connection. I would assume I have to get a new hole, as I have read that its nearly impossible to splice it. But my main concern is at the master cylinder. I looked at the connection and tinkered with it a little bit but got nowhere. How does this come out? Well really, if someone would explain what I need to do to get it back going again I would be greatly appreciative..

i know on certain vehicles you have to buy the whole mc. i dont know about these though. call the dealer and just see if they sell it seperate. if you buy it there, im sure someone would tell you.

there is a small rod that presses into the master cylinder that holds the hydraulic line in....

Yep, it's a little roll pin holding the line in. There should be an o-ring as well.

Does it just pry out of there? I don't want to tear anything up.

Just use a nail a little smaller in diameter than the pin (with the front end ground flat). Just tap the pin downward making sure you don't lose it when it falls out the bottom.
