well i want to do my chutch i did one one my other ranger but it was a
2wdthis one is a 4x4 and i really dont want to fuger it up is it going to be
harded to do it with the tranfer case and all if some one could give me step by step derections that would be great.

the only extra steps are removing the front driveshaft, transfer case shift linkage, and wiring/vacuum

ok where is ths vaccum and is the shift linkage going to be a pain to deal with. when i take off the tarsfer case is the going to be lubricent tha leaks out or is there a drain plug. oh and does it matter if i drain the trany before i take it out. and its the exaust really something that needs to come out its a 4.0

its usually always easier to drain the fluid to avoid a mess, you should buy a pump that screws onto 1qt oil bottles to refill.

i don't know if the exhaust needs to be removed, but it will make it easier

ok i was looking at it all and it does not look like the exaust needs come off. but the book i have for the truck says to remove it but i think there is enough room to where i dont need to. and another thing there is a hose coming off my front axle that looks importent but its not hooked up to and thing.

I've never seen anyone get the trans. out without removing the exhaust Y-pipe. Save yourself a lot of trouble/cussing and take that sucker out before you have to wrestle the tranny back in to remove it later.

ok ill take it out. ok another thing .. with the trasfer case is it going to be fairly simple to hook back up. taking it apart is not what im worried about it puting all back together that is worring me. oh and how does bleeding the system work exactly

ok i dont know what the tranny is, but its a 94 ranger 4.0 4x4 is a manual shift if that helps at all.

the transfer case is easier to get back on than the transmission. it just slides right on.

the hose on your front axle is a vent, leave it alone

bleeding the clutch is the same as bleeding brakes, you shouldn't have a problem

ok im going to give it a shot on monday wish me luck if i have and problems ill be back on asking more questions even if i get it ill let ya' all know
