Well I replaced the clutch, pressure plate, slave cyl, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, and fly wheel. about 2 years ago on a 94 2wd 2.3L and after the install I did notes that it sounded like it was slipping (fiber on steel like sound) but thought nothing of it and now it is slipping real bad. So I was wondering if it was possible that the throwout bearing was too long causing it to slip just a little bit until now. I want to make sure that this time I get it right. should I get the throwout bearing from ford? also if any one has there original throwout bearing to measure the length that would be great. thanks.
