I finally solved the clutch disengagement problem with my 5.0 to ranger swap(with alot of help from a couple of friends). I,m using a t5 mustang bell adapted to take a mitsubishi 4x4 5spd. for an every day driver. This kit is expensive and is supposed to work with the internal t/b slave setup. After removing the trans. 6 times and trying everything from shimming the slave.to lengthening the master cyl. pushrod. benchbleeding and drip bleeding numerous times , we found Modern Driveline on the web. They offer external slave kits for t5s and others. This kit has a slave with adj. rod. Ialso bought the t/b fork and adj, pivot. You can use your internal t/b as your trans. nose cone by removing the t/b and cutting the tube it rides on. The mustang t/b fits the inner tube . After installing clutch, trans and new slave bled the system with the master cyl. removed but connected tothe slave. hold the master below the slave under truck and push plunger with screwdriver while your helper opens bleeder. (i secured the resorvoir to the frame with cabletie.Your stock master WILL work. Mod. Driveline has an adapter to change from stock plastic line to braided at mas. cyl. Hope this helps somebody out there
