Clunk when turning sharp in 4x4


I would be looking at the front axle u-joints. My sons truck had one that was so still that you couldn't move it by hand when we pulled the axle shaft out. Any clunking is abnormal and either you deal with it now or later. Much cheaper to do it now.
 
my 86 B2 doesn't clunk when i make sharp turns in 4x4, on a hard surface the entire front end hops up and down.
