Only happens when front hubs are locked in, but tcase not engaged.

If I apply moderate to heavy brake pressure, come to a stop or near stop, and release the pedal swiftly, I feel and hear a slight clunk that seems to come from the front drivers side.

Does not happen if the hubs are not locked.

Is this normal or an indication of some kind of problem? Anybody know?

It could be lots of things but worn radius arm bushings would be the first thing I would check.

If it was worn radius arm bushings I would think it would happen regardless if the hubs are locked or not, but I only observe the symptom when the hubs are locked. That makes me think that if this is not normal then the problem might lie somewhere in the hub or front driveline?

I think its a bad ball joint. There's lots of play in them and I have to replace them again. Passenger side is still nice and tight.
