ok i didnt know were to put this so i put it here. my hole suspension on the truck is shot. ok when i get on the gas and shift for that moment the clutch is pushed in i get a low grad clunck like noise. my tranny is rebuilt and all the u joints are in good worrking order. when i let the clutch back up it cluncks again. what could it be???

its driving me nutzs it got worse after i got my tranny rebuilt.

i too have a similar problem from what you descibed. from what i can tell, it appears to be the backlash set in the rear diff. and from what i have gathered, it is rather pricey to have someone set the backlash properly if you cannot do it yourself. hope that helps.

yea i though of that to. maybe i should just swap in a 8.8? this will be the 2 rear end in the truck if that is what it is. the 7.5 just arent houlding up to my kind of driving. hehehe
