hey guys, here is my 99 ranger ext cab 4x4 3.0 5speed. it has 118,000 on it, and when i got it back in may it had a cracked head. i stripped it down and out new heads and gaskets on it, along with a new alternator and battery. i replaced all the brakes also. i recently put a K&N on it for a little more omf when i hop on it. inside i recently installed my sirius satelite radio on the side of the transmission hump, using an old car phone mounting bracket. i think it works and looks real good because i can slide it back out of the way under the dash when i need to. inside i also put a new pioneer deck in, that is real nice. i also put 2 new 5x7 pioneers up front, and (2) 4.5" pioneer round 2 ways in the back. scicne the truck was stripped it didnt have speakers in the rear. i also added some cheasy walmart tint to the back, which doesnt look half bad because i sepnt 3 hours applying it lol. My truck originally came from washington state where it was ordered, and had a block heater put in, which i thought was interesting. Scince it was from "snow country" i believe thats why it was ordered with the fender flares also, because i have never seen another ranger sport with the grey flares and mudflaps that i have. almost forgot on the outside i also put a new windshield and out 2 hella optilux 1100 foglights under the tow hooks. i got a led switch and mounted it on my dash the same place that a ranger with stock fogs would have the switch.
Forgot to add that i did crank the torsions up front to help level the truck out.

Now, i posted in the suspension area about body lifts. i plan on purchasing a 2" or 3" body lift just for a imporved stance and to make it look better with the new tires which will soon be coming. i am going to put 31.50x10.50 bfg a/t, scince it is a daily driver a.k.a. (school to home) and i plan to do light very light wheeling, scince it is pretty much illegal in RI. Well her she is, any ideas about future mods? interior exterior? im planning a headache rack out of aluminum tube along with a diamond plate box, but i gotta find the time to fab it up. any comments, ideas about the lift or tires? thanks guys

HEres the sirius radio...

you should be able to fit 31s on it already. with a body lift you could tuck some 33s under no prob.

other than that, it looks good :icon_thumby:
maybe a chip and a performance exhaust too

and some of this and some of that...:icon_pepsi:

Well as far as tires go you can clear 32x11.5 stock ar if you put a body lift you can clear 33-34 pm me if You would like picks with 33x12.5 on 10 inch wide rims

Here's what mine looked like with 285/75/16= 33", stock with just a t-bar crank.

surpisingly no, i figured i would after i mounted it, but it works perfect, and i can move it around

Be sure to post some exterior shots when you get the BFG's. There is nothing better then some new shoes.

4LO, those wheels ROCK!! LASER SHARP!... what are they, 'n where'd ya git 'em??? :clapping:

Lookin good!! Nice truck.

I think you need to oil your filter a LITTLE. Little is the key word.

i have a '99 with 31s and when i get alot of flex the tires rubbed some, so i did a three inch body lift and no more rub, but 33s on pavement dont rub anywhere, but any flex will chew em up
