Climate Control Panel Swap

Not sure if this deserves to be in this section but I am wanting to swap the old analog knob climate control on my ranger with a digital one from an explorer. I've seen these swap outs on a lot of trucks but was wondering if the wiring is the same of if i would have to do more than a simple swap/wire-up with existing setup. Has anybody done this? Thanks.
