I'm not even sure if it's in the suspension or not but there's a clicking noise coming from the left front side and you can feel it a little in the steering wheel. Any ideas
I have a clicking noise when I get on the brakes and then take off. I think thats from one of the pins in the brake cailper shifting, because it backs itself out after awhile. I have another clicking noise and my whole suspension shifts when I make a hard turn, and then when I turn back the other way, It will shift again. I have been trying to figure it out, Ball Joints? Tie Rods? I have no idea when it comes to suspension... Its a 1990 2wd Ranger with a 2.9 If you have any ideas, or a way to diagnose let me know
You'll need to get under the truck and start checking things out to be sure. I had my tie-rod end go out and it was causing things to bind at certain points while steering. I found it when I was changing the oil, grabed onto the inner rod end and watchen the outer move.
